Arcadia Biosciences Welcomes Chief Financial Officer

-- Experienced Life Science Executive Will Strengthen Company’s Financial Capabilities --

DAVIS, Calif. (March 12, 2015) – Arcadia Biosciences, Inc., an agricultural technology company focused on developing technologies and products that benefit the environment and human health, announced today that Thomas P. O’Neil has joined the company’s leadership team as chief financial officer (CFO).

Mr. O’Neil brings more than 20 years of finance and operations experience in private and large public companies in the U.S. and globally. Prior to joining Arcadia, Mr. O’Neil was the CFO of Sorbent Therapeutics, Inc. He has also held executive-level positions with ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded Australian company, and biotechnology firms Nodality and HX Diagnostics, as well as several finance roles with Monogram Biosciences, Inc., a publicly traded U.S. company. Mr. O’Neil’s experience includes initial public offerings, oversight and management of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, and investor relations. He has an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson Graduate School of Management, and a B.A. from Pomona College.
